  The Publisher “MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org ”), is hosting this MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org Taxpayers Forum for its members and other participants , in order to provide the citizens of Morgan County Indiana a forum where a wide range of taxpayers can post and discuss issues, link to relevant items on the Internet, make others aware of important taxpayer developments and share and learn from each others’ experiences.  MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org’s goal is to monitor, keep informed and hold accountable at the polls our much appreciated public servants who tax our citizens, spend our wages and are entrusted to manage this business called Government.

In order to achieve these goals, all participants in MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org are required to comply with the following are the terms and conditions of participation ("Terms and Conditions").  By participating in this blog, comments and forums users hereby agree to be bound by and warrant their full compliance with the following Terms and Conditions.  In the event that any participant fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, such participant may be denied the right to further access and participate in the MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org blog.

Our Position Statement

1. Our goal is to monitor, keep informed and hold accountable at the polls our much appreciated public servants who tax our citizens, spend our wages and are entrusted to manage this business called Government.

2. We believe in generating needed revenue by increasing the economic activity in the county by soliciting & promoting manufacturing and retail activity and not by reducing this activity by lowering the spendable about one has to participate in it by increasing their tax burden.

3. We also believe that all government spending should be done on a "As Needed" basis and not on a " As Wanted " basis.

4. We believe a representatives evaluation is totally dependent on their level of success in accomplishing the above.

5. We believe it is the responsibility and duty of the individual citizens of our county to bring this statement to fruition .

6. That this mathematically proven and society tested  method is the only way a free society can exist.

General Site Rules

1. Users are responsible to keep their contact information up to date on their profiles. Private information such as email addresses and IP addresses is only available to the management of MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org .

2. We enforce a policy of one username per human. Any member caught creating multiple user names will lose them all as well as the ability to create any new accounts.

3. If members have problems with other members of the site or a member of management then they are advised to take the situation up with a member of the administration team. We will attempt to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

4. Any person attempting to negate a site ban can be subject to further actions, not limited to legal prosecution, notification of internet provider or any other action under applicable laws.

    

Content Submission Guidelines

MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org is a progressive social networking site and therefore contains numerous sources of content that can be published by all members. Please select the appropriate section of the site to submit your content based upon the following guidelines.

Blog.

Blogs are expressed opinions and views of individuals. Posting a blog gives you a chance to share your views with a large audience. Any material is fair use for blogs as long as it conforms to the rules lied herein and within the scope of our TOS.

Forum

Forums are meant to engage conversations. Sometimes differentiating between a blog and forum post can be hard. Use your best judgment at deciding is your content should be a blog or forum. Generally forums are straight and to the point, while blogs are more like "articles".

Link Swap

If you see a link of interest on the web and want to share it without writing a full editorial then the Link Swap is the right place for that.

General Rules For All Content

1. Per the TOS, any text copied from another website must be attributed to that website with a link back to the original article. The same applies for content taken from one section within MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org to another.

2. Images are allowed in all content, with the exception of comments. MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org does not have an uploading facility for all members. Instead users are encouraged to sign up for a free account at one of the numerous sites around the web (ie: PhotoBucket, Flicker, etc.). If your content receives a high level of traffic then a member of the administration team will gladly move your image to the onsite hosting to prevent your account from going over quota.

3. Emebedding of video is enabled for several video sites. Embedding is not enabled in comments. To embed a video simply copy and paste the unaltered code from the site into your post and MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org does the rest. If your site is not supported then please contact us and we will add it.

4. Users will not attempt to alter the site layout utilizing any css, javascript or html codes. All submitted code is vigorously filtered by the software. The code will still appear in the edit view of your post, however the final view for the end users is checked for security purposes.

5. Users are not allowed to post information meant to strictly flame with other users. Such content will be removed at the discretion of the management.

6. Posting of pornographic material is strictly prohibited.

Fair Use Notice

Polls

Users are allowed to include polls in their content. The poll will appear on the full page view of your post. If your poll is selected to be a site poll, meaning it appears in the right side column on all pages, then your editing privileges to that poll will be removed until it has been set back to a normal poll.

Comments

1. Trolling, abusive language, racist and offensive comments will not be tolerated.

2. Spamming in the comments, or any content on the site is strictly prohibited.

3. These are general rules for posting on the site and are subject to change at anytime.

MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org Management

We are still at a young stage so the management team is small. In the future we will add more to the management as we grow. Here are the current management levels (from lowest to highest) that apply to this site.

Moderators – Duties are to monitor all content, including comments and edit the content to conform to the rules and policies of the site.

Editors – Performs the duties of the moderators, plus have the ability to promote material to the front page or hot box.

Administrators - Performs all duties above plus manages the backstage functionality of MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org . Administrators are the only people with the ability to ban members. Any grievances with the site will be addressed to the administration team.

MorganCountyTaxpayer.Org reserves the right to modify or change these policies at any time without notification. It is the end users responsibility to check back periodically for any changes that may have occurred.
