It's sad that we have to have contract state prisons for hardened criminals like the one 39 & Morgan St. that also partially serves as a local jail for Morgan County. Times as they are in this nation that rejects God there should be no surprise that they are growing and filling up fast. Or did anyone forget that people obey laws for morale reasons and not from fear of jail-time. It's of no surprise to find counties like ours using their local jail facilities to start a prison business for extra money. It's a thriving business and much easier to find locations for prisons without worrying about a public out cry over housing such dangerous criminals close to someones community. When the state seeks locations it's very publicized and the public is we informed and involved in the process. When a county like Morgan County does it they lie and keep it from the public just as this county did. I have posted before the public news releases from this paper of all the council meetings about this new big jail building and all the things they said at the meetings that they were going to do and why it was needed and what for. You can follow the decision making process and will be amazed how they so deceitfully left out of the public domain their intentions of making it a prison for the state to house hardened and dangerous state prisoner in.

Having said all that I would like to us it to make my point. It's this very evil deceit of our local elected officials that indicates why the need for larger prisons to begin with. When people turn from God and live by the standards of the world that satan is the god over they will not only govern in this manor but in doing so they become criminal in their actions. Using deceit to defraud the county's people is no different than any other criminal act to potentially harm and defraud. It's kind of amusing when we see criminal fraud used to build a prison. Humm.. I'm sure it really confuses many prisoners who sit many hours each day thinking of their crime and why they screwed up. In this process of self assessment if they stop and ask why they disrespected the communities laws ( agreements) they would have no farther to look than this to find out why they don't.

The original designed purpose for confinement in jails and prisons was for the public safety. It's a place to house those that have or will most likely cause harm to the citizens who agree to live by a community standard and laws. It was not designed as punishment. Yes, I know the vindictive types think otherwise but I can't change that because that's a pride issue of having the human elevation over others justifying then being the one to punish another. The system is NOT designed to punish, reform or change people it was JUST designed to keep the dangerous out of the communities who have made these living agreements. The ones who breaks the agreements ( laws ) and causes loss and pain of others are then removed and house somewhere in order to protect the innocent. The one who designed us understands how people can be deceived by the world and it's ruling god. He also knows what it takes to change people. He taught us this through illustration while walking the earth. He selected many types from the Good to the bad evildoers like the tax-collectors to make them His disciples. He lived and taught and spent time with them. He mentored them as a friend and leader. His disciples did the same and the early church did the same. It the act of mentoring through friendship and brotherhood. The person being discipled doesn't even have to know anything but you care and you're beliefs and ways are worth following.

Jesus commanded anyone who really follows Him ( Christians) to visit those in prison. ( Mat 25:36, Mat 25:43, ) or Heb 13:3 "Remember those in prison as though you were in prison with them............." He know the most successful way to change a criminals behavior is through discipleship and it's through the good citizens discipling time with them that brings hope and respect for them selves and a roll model for their change. The system our county has denies Jesus and prevents our Makers system for change from taking place. I guess if they are evil enough to defraud their own citizens you can't expect them to allow God into their system. They only allow a Chaplin into the jail and all others have to be scheduled by the inmate thus insuring only the same bad influences will show-up as bad influences . They need to allow those, who pass the scrutiny, who care to have access for walk through jail visits. Taking time to talk and encouragement, time to start to build relationships that can carry on outside of the facility when they will be needed most. Remember, it's NOW to our new jail systems business financial advantage to make and keep criminals. The more they house the more money they make. The prison business is the profit business for the counties who depend on those funds.

This all go's to show that if we want peace, trust and security it will never come from the world or it's governments who themselves are criminal influences but they can only be found in Jesus Christ and by following His commands.

 I suggest we follow Jesus on how to deal with those who screw up and in-up in prisons and jails.

Acts 8, 1John and Jude 1Cor and Matt 5,7,8  explains this and should be read in context to help put this post in perspective.  We are called to worship in spirit and truth. So lets begin.

Mega Churches and their wealthy leaders ? Wealthy Leaders who won't preach tough stuff ?  Wealthy preachers who write and sell millions of books ?  or even a smaller 200 seat church wanting to attract more paying members ?  or a community of completely surrendered brothers and sisters actively involved each and every day carrying out the great commission while being obedient to His Word ?   Can you find your church in the Bible ? Really ?

Act 8:9-25 speaks about Simon the Sorcerer, who was a after believing seen the spiritual power of the Apostles miracles and want to acquire the knowledge so he could make profit.  Simon Magus was his name and was a Baptized believer that wanted to use the faith for an income. Notice what Peter said to Him in Acts 8:18-24. Emperor Constantine was also a pagan who like Simon saw the church for his gain and it's this character the church of 312 AD was founded on and all the reformed churches of today operates by his principles.

Whenever I drive by a Big church building today I can't help but feel sad that satan has more than 80% of those believers money and resources tied up in a treasure on earth (idol) and all the non-scriptural "STAFF" wages , while 90% plus of all the active members and leaders time tied up in the operations of the building. Even paying a professional speaker to talk to them each week. You see, the church that most people think of today as Holy is little more than the one started and formed by the spirit of (Acts 8) Simon the Sorcerer. Most don't teach believers to follow Jesus commands like Jesus charged us to but they do teach us to discredit and deny ( brush off ) His words and commands. i.e. Matt 5,6,7. They teach to blindly celebrate and worship pagan holidays and idols. That's the church of Simon the Sorcerer and not the one founded on Peters confession.   The Church of Simon the Sorcerer was the one that people depend on for job income and to makes a lot of money off of. The true Church was the Church Paul refused to take money from those he preached to because it would discredit the gospel. It's also the Church whose only definition of the word "church" was  "followers of Christ" and not an idol ( building) to be worshiped and  be prideful or and invite others to come see and worship.

 It's all about unknowingly practicing pagan worship in the name of Christ. Even His birthday which God's people in all history since the creation never and would never had celebrated. Celebrating birthdays were only kept by the pagans for their evil astrology worship. God's people thought it evil enough not to ever record the date of any of His peoples birth. Look it up. It's wasn't until 312 AD when Constantine proclaimed the quasi pagan church Christian that celebrating birthdays and killing was allowed by a Christian.

The true Christian Church obeyed Christ command of non-resistance even to death.  Ever wondered why not only Jesus, but all the apostles and all the early 1st and 2nd century Christians also lived and illustrated this and where martyred. They believed in the power of " heaping burning coals" that Jesus commanded and used in transforming the hearts of man.  The true Church that Jesus founded on peters confession was commanded by Jesus to commit  to the poor and needy and was also designed to meet as small groups in their homes. This insured unity and true discipleship. All their money and giving went to the poor, missionaries and for needy among them. All their time making disciples of people and friends and sharing the gospel.

Never once did He or His Apostles ever suggest taking money in the Name of God and spend it on their own pleasures nor paying anyone to do their work. In fact, being for their own pleasures ( padding pews) was the reason they were told they didn't get what they prayed for. James 4: 2-3   It's for this very reason most church leaders deny Christ and turn to the world to provide and put their congregation into deep debt to the world when their prayers go un-answered ( or answered ) when praying for money to build luxurious buildings to meet in. Now, do you want to check your leaders faith ? When God doesn't provide for the funds they pray for do they , 1. wait for Him to answer in His time and if not accept that as His will or 2. Pray on their way to the bank to borrow Caesars money from the worldly bank and put their congregation into the chains of sinful debt.  By their pick you can tell at what alter they worship.

Remember, at the temple, when Jesus turned over the tables of those offering to sell fake sacrifices to those who were suppose to be offering something they had a heartfelt value for thus, making it truly sacrificial. Instead they were using Caesar's money to buy a nice superficial dove that meant no more than what Caesar's money did to them. A completely superficial offering. Those selling these offering are very much like those in the government churches of today. Recall when Jesus said "give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's" ? Can we understand why Jesus became angry at those who were suckering those who were suppose to be bringing a sacrifice to offer into just using Caesar's cash instead. Folks that's all the church businesses are about today. They are asking for Caesar's money and then building large pagan idols for you to worship while providing someone to speak to you for the same Caesar's money that discredits the gospel.

A small test. Compare how much was spent on a new church building's sound system and how much that same leadership gave to a single missionary in the same year.

If the spirit so leads anyone to start meeting in their homes there is a excellent book that can offer some simple instruction. The fastest growth of the church in it's history was when they meet in their homes and disciplining. New leaders are developed among their own groups and when a house gets to full they open-up their house and so you can see the multiplication is from. All who come are encouraged to participate by sharing just like God designed it to be. 1 Corinthians 14:26

This is an excellent read for those who are interested. I have many loving friends and preachers who are involved in what we consider the church today and they are great loving people. It's hard to break through satans deceptions and illusions that so encompasses us and the world in which we live. I've been there I know and now constantly look for it just as Jesus told us to in Act 20:29, Mat 7:15, or Jude. For me on my journey it all started with wondering why we weren't obeying the words of Christ and not having church like it was designed. Why the preacher only could try to discredit the Words of Christ in the sermon on the mount and why not to follow His commands.

I backed away from everything taught by some theologian and then started to study the Bible for truth and not the words of men who are on someones payroll. I stopped reading commentary in a study bibles, you know the easy believism of those who try to tell you what the bible should have said or what they want you to believe instead of what it simply says. It's simple, REPENT ( turn from sin) and FOLLOW JESUS ( Take Him at His Word and obey His commands ). Meet with others the way God designed while discipling someone to follow Christ. That's how Jesus, His apostles and all the early Christians did it. That's why Christianity exploded and grew faster and spread father than ant time since.

Please don't let satan redefine the word church to ever reference bricks and mortar. The church is only God's people.

What Paul said in 1Cor about his right to be paid and what God had said referring to the Old testament workers and priest that the temple required as God's house.

Some have twisted Paul's few sentences he used to say that even though he had a RIGHT to take money your reward as a Christian comes from NOT. Ever since satan took over the church in 312 AD what Paul said has been used to create a massive enterprise that has required Christians to turn over their money to their enterprise instead of to what God said to collect and use it for. Used as financial profit of non-scriptural paid speakers and staff and real-estate idols and all collected under the deceitful pretense of God that they won't obey in the use of it. While they force the old and needy to beg from the world ( secular government) for money to eat and live on they even force them to beg for their health-care from the world.


I challenge all of us to be the Christians God commands us to be by taking Jesus at His Word and really Follow Christ and his commands in the Church as He designed it. That's my prayer for 2011 and always.

If you read the US Constitution you will not see the word " Creator", " God" or any other reference to God Acknowledged like some have mentioned. That's because the Constitution was written as a protection for the citizens from the government, placing limitations on it's power that belongs to the citizens of a new nation and a formulation of how this government is to operate. There is no purpose to mention God here outside of protecting our right to freely exercise our religion anywhere anytime we see fit. No separation was mentioned or established but only that congress could not make one religion a law. That's it and nothing more."Congress shall make no Law respecting the Establishment of Religion, or prohibiting the free Exercise thereof;"   As you can see as long as congress doesn't pass a law that establishes a religion there are absolutely no restrictions or prohibition that congress can make by any other law of it's free exercise at any time any where. Especially on public (People) owned property . This is a protection for the people placed against the government preventing them for making any limitations against anything to do with exercising religion and it place or type of practice. That's why the same founders held church in the Capital and have established prayer there today.

Now, the reason the word Creator wasn't mentioned in the constitution was due to the fact He had already been established as the main giver of all our human rights that only He could give, in the Founding Document already written, The Declaration of Independence. As Written " We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are LIFE ( no location or age limits), LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS; that to secure these rights governments are instituted, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed ".

As one can see the purpose of the US Government and it's Constitution is to secure the right above that God gives us.

Here, let read it again, " We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal; that they are endowed by their ( Creator ( GOD ) with certain inalienable rights; that among these ( not limited to ) are LIFE ( no location or age limits), LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS; that to secure these rights governments are instituted, ( US Government ) deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed ( The US Constitution).

Not my opinion folks, just the words in constructed order of our founding fathers. Now, that doesn't mean that many living in this country today don't like what the United States as created and would like it to be designed like another country of their choice. So in conclusion we can agree the argument isn't what the United States is, it's what some want it to be and that just happens to be two completely different countries. That's all.

I see the Mayor of the county seat got his windfall salary hike ( 10% in depression times) from his cronies on the council while his city employees effectively lost pay  . This is a sad day for the republican party in Morgan County Indiana. It's also a telling and defining day for what that party stands for. You see folks how fast it can happen.  The are a few republicans who are ashamed of this. Most city employees pay, after inflation, went down and the mayor takes a big 10% windfall and he's the last one who needs it. I wonder how the city employees feel about their leader now.   How does a political party come to this point of elitism ?...  just ask a democrat.  Socialism infected the democrat party  over 40 years ago to the dismay of many in their party and today that party has even accepted many tenants of communism. The republicans as we see even here in this county are coming right behind as well. They may be the caboose at the end of the train but  will eventually get there too. Kind of like the Christian that maintains an arms length distance in comparison from the one he thinks is heading towards hell not considering that by using that type of measurement of his own spiritual success that he  is heading the same direction and well end-up in hell also but only a arms length behind. Keep vigil brothers and sisters and access your positions and actions daily .

I know we have a lot of good republican party members who wouldn't have been involved in this kind of corruption but folks there isn't enough of them to reverse what's been started. The list of socialistic accepted practices such as  doubling the county's poor and elderly income taxes, along with everyone else  and suing private businesses to prevent them from competing against a county socialist businesses like our hospital. ( Morgan County  vs ST FRANCIS  ). Thank the Lord the higher courts had to step in and put a stop to the counties unconstitutional socialist scheme here. They also, instituted new taxes against a few productive businesses ( most owned by minorities) just to give the money to a handful of non-productive businesses with neat ideas. These are just highlights of the last three years and examples to prove that socialism's elitism has settled comfortably in Morgan County Indiana's political system that most still would call conservative. Hey, I haven't  even mentioned  the political establishment and NEA run government schools, that would take a large book with many chapters to cover. Chapters with titles like  "11 year old masturbation classes named CPR" and " Keeping the Alcohol Drug convicted Superintendents as leaders of our children". That kind of book would surely draw comments from the " LETITGO's" who are the precursors of the GETALONGS" described below.

Socialism is no different that any other tool of temptation that satan employees that's based in pride, control and selfishness. That's why there are over 20,000 sect's and divisions of Christianity around the world today. People will always find a church that fit's their life style, telling them what they want to hear that  makes them feel comfortable and if they can't  they will just start-up a new church that will.  Most seeking believers ( not Christ Followers who have surrendered to His written will ) that stumble across these hi-bred churches will just go along with anything they hear, regardless of what Jesus said in the Gospels,  just as long as God is mentioned often regaurdless of the fruit they bear. Just discredit the words and commands of Christ that's the hardest to follow while keeping the ones that fits their lifestyle best. These are the "Getalongs" and are easily deceive because of it.  Because of them socialism always spreads the fastest  through small communities because that's where trusting  your neighbor runs the highest and most will deny negatives in their pursuit of their blind un-conditional support of a friend or church or club or political party.  I will coin these people who satan recruits for this purpose as " Getalongs " because they are just friendly, kind  people you see at the corner store who just want to " Get Along "

 Maybe that describes you and me.  How many times have we realized, after years of blind support, one of our friends have changed for the worst, like a frog in slowly heating water, until one day we step back to notice their hearts are dead and we have to walk away while wondering how much our blind support played a part in their change or in the prevention of saving them.  Kind of like most Christians do with their family and friends just to " Get Along.  I myself don't give blind support for family or friends. I also don't have a large number of them because of it but at least the ones I do have are real and I can count on them as they do me. Maybe satans nonsensical deceptive thinking that all discrimination is something bad or all diversity is something good has screwed up the ability of a nation and it's people to be decent. I will say that the One and only One that really matters commands us to be united in Him and extremely discriminatory of who we associate ourselves with. Please take a few minutes and read the book of  Matthew in His Bible and then see what He says happens with the " GETALONGS "
